New Yorkers deserve less traffic, cleaner air, and safer streets. Trump canceling on Congestion Pricing without a better option just made these dreams harder to realize.
Congestion Pricing is intended to make our City and Transportation better but the implementation needed to be much better. Instead of just ending the program, we should make it better such as exempting public sector workers commuting to and from work, redesigning street patterns to ease restrictive one-ways, and increasing economic grants to small businesses experiencing reduced patronage.
